OUR CLASS OUTING IS ON FRIDAY, LABOUR'S DAY which is coming up soon!

we hope everyone of u can come if you dont have anything on on that day as this would be a great chance for us to BOND!!! We will have lots of fun with games, bbq, and more! Mrs Ezra, Mr Hong, Mr Lim, Ms Sim and Mr Tan KB (not geog de) will be coming too! ^^

Ok anyways, i come here to post with a purpose. and that is to... wait, let me think... ahhhh, while im thinking, let's ask: SO HOW WAS THE CHINESE PAPER EVERYONE? I hope you guys (and gals) found it ok and may u all pass with FLYING COLOURS!!! Jyjy oh! Coming up would be geog and science test! ^^ Ok, after saying that, i still cant remember what i wanted to say... Ok, then we shall talk about something else. :)

As you can see from dear mumu's post and pictures which were painstakingly taken, some people have bottles of sweetened drink under their desks and all sorts of stuff. So anyways, as a word of reminder, ms lee has mentioned before that sweetened drinks are not allowed to be brought into the classroom. I think if you want you clear up after that, in the bin OUTSIDE the classroom and make sure u don't spill. I guess? So you see, since we (all ecrusians) have put in effort for class cleanliness, shouldn't we maintain it? ^^ 2nd you know! That's awesome! We aim for the best --> 1st rite, like what mumu said too. Ahaha. Now, i STILL cant remember what i wanted to say.

Ahh!!! do i have stm or what. nvm about that. now, i shall say something else. I think we should thank the subject reps for collecting our worksheets, arranging them, making sure we hand in on time and of course, organizing our files neatly when we give it to them messily and then taking the trouble to go pass it to the teacher (for math, science and geography so far rite?) ahaha. 2:20 pm to 2:30 pm – Arrival of invitees (main) & Briefing <10>
2:30 pm to 2:50 pm – The Scissors Paper Stone Running Thingy <20>
2:50 pm to 3:30 pm – Truth, Dare or Double Dare (Murderer Version) <40>
3:30 pm to 4:05 pm – Captain’s Ball <35>
4:05 pm to 6:05 pm – Free Period 2* <2>

Yeah, so basically; its something like that. The free Period is a period of time when everybody is allowed to do anything they want. (Cycling, skating, going to Downtown East, ETP etc.) However, they would have to come back to the meeting point at exactly 2 hours later. Those who do not want to do anything, will either help out for the barbeque, or play games among themselves. As for the ice-breakers, it is only for Free Period 1 and for those who want to remain at the meeting point. The games for ice-breakers will not be pre-organised, as they will be decided by the people themselves, on what they want to play.

You do not have to come at 11:50; its OPTIONAL! Let me repeat OPTIONAL; don’t go and ask chairperson or vice-chair whether need come so early. I know some of you want sleep later; we don’t mind. But please come by 2:20!! But if you are helpful enough; and want to help us carry some stuffs, please come earlier and contact me (92452888-Vernetta). I will tell you where we are; then you can come and meet us. Basically, Xiyu will put the stuffs she brought at my house first (with the help of JJ, HZ, and Cars). Then we will go meet Valerie at ehub! NTUC; then we will purchase the food, then we will bring it to my house to put the frozen stuffs in the icebox, then from my house transfer to PRP. So if those who want to help, please call me, and I will inform you where we are(: basically is something like that.

Please bring extra clothings as there maybe games that need you to be wet; so in order not to catch a cold, please remember to bring extra clothings or a tower to dry yourself after the games (:

Mr Tan says its quite reasonable and I think you guys can fork out $8 bah! If not you this week and next week recess eat lesser; comfirm can save up to $8! I went out just now and 'shun bian' checked the prices of the food at the Tampines Mall NTUC, cause we're buying food from NTUC in E!Hub(: And, here's the "results":

• drinks - 20x 1.5l bottle = $2 x20 = $40
• seaweed chicken - 2x packet of about 10-20? = $10 x2 = $20
• chicken wings - 2x packet of about 10-20? = $7 x2 = $14

Ok, so, regarding the class tee, yep, we will have it in BRIGHT RED and the design will be in BLACK and WHITE. Yup yup! In case u didnt noe, we will be putting the monster design thingy jie yi did, at the back of ur tee. And the logo that ranice did, at the front of it, at the corner. So done with the class tee. Moving on to class outing!

So by majority, the class outing will be on the 1st of may! Labour day! ahahaha. Reporting time will be between 2.00 to 2.30 but try to be earlier so we can start earlier! The thingy ends at 9.00!!! so u have about 7 hours of pure fun! Wear anything u want, as long as its not *ahem* *ahem* (u noe rite?) and try to avoid wearing mini skirts, girls. If really no choice then er... be careful lor. :D coz we are playing games and u dont want to u noe... rite? HAHAHAHA. Boys no problem la. ^^ Oh n no need so formal, wear casual!!! Okay, i want to clarify doubts (again) lols.
okays, for the voting on the colour of our class tee and station games thiongy on class outing, i cant do on tues, cos qinghui absent frm sku. As for wednesdae, some ppl hav CCA so i dun wan make anybody skip lunch, or have no tyme to eat, so i coudnt do it on that dae as well. Well, for todae, have the level camp preparation thingy, and hav a lot ppl nvr come sku, so oso cant do. I so sorry for the delay. Probably it will be done on mondae or tuesdae. But i think some ppl have CCA on mondae rites? so it will most likely be tuesdae then. If u all think u can stay bak on mondae, like around 10-15 mins bah (doing 2 votes) then u all inform me. I'll be most glad to do it on mondae^^just tell me. (i might also want to ask some other related matters to class outing. like, hu very sure they cant make it, all those) oh yeh, and the class outing is currently being arranged on the 8th of june, cos week 3 of june hols, mr tan cannot, and 9th - 12th june, our chairperson cant make it.
secondly, for the camp roles that all of you are assigned to, i sincerely apologise, but i really cant let u all knw ur roles, coz ms ling instructed us not to do so. we came in 4th position for the cheer! 4 out of 12 classes, not bad ehhs? it shows that we have the callibre to suceed, the potential to excel, the luck to win!!! I truly think that every single ecrusian out there deserve credits for this, regardless if u onli whispered or shouted ur lungs out, after all, whispers combined tgt can be compared to a shout rites? lols! But then agn, i hope tt the next cheer competition, everybdy can scream, yell at the top of their voices, and let's show others how powerful the ecru spirit is, how strong and united we are. Must 再接再厉 horrs!!!
As for the badge design, it was rili nice. Ty to everybody, even if ur designs didnt get selected. There is always nxt tyme! Dun be dissapointed. Most importantly, is tt u get to enjoy urself and let ur creativity soar and showcase ur artisitic ability to the fullest by producing those ingenious designs! By looking at the designs, i realised tt Ecru is definitely an artistic and creative class manzz! Oh yeas, ty John for teaching the class how to do the cheer, and to hengyi for motivating everybody to cheer wif the best, wif ur shouts and screams. Lolz! And agn, THANK YOU ECRUSIANS! JIAYOUS! I would like to tell all of you regarding the GPA issue..
To all those people who are dying to know their CA1 GPA score but don't know how to get it,
Here's the points for each grade:
A+: 4
A: 3.6
B: 2.8
C: 2
D: 1
F: 0

I'm sure NONE of you will get F...since we're all so INTELLIGENT!! Anyways, let's say you got C for LA, A for Science, A for Chinese, B for Maths, B for Geography and A+ for History, take 2+3.6+3.6+2.8+2.8+4. Find the sum and divide that number by 6 (no. of subjects we take). That's your approximate GPA score for CA1!! (it isn't your actual GPA score i think...at least you'll get a rough idea of how well you did for CA1!! :D )

Vernetta + (0 comments) / top okays, we had a class comm meeting todae, and we discussed abt 2 major things.
first, the class tee. it shud be ready before june hols=] so, no worries^^ but, we do nid ur opinion for colour on class tee, cos its vry indesicive, so pls vote^^ andand, i shud hav 36 votes altgt kays?
second, class outing. we wanna do it on a weekday so nt so crowded ( at least mr tan wans), so we nid to decide on a dae, so yeps, havta vote=]]]
mr lim, mr hong, mr tan... and MRS EZRA is comin! so muz come kays? it will be at ECP, and then, mr tan sae can cycle and all tt...Annora and i shall be thinkin of some awesome games.=]]]
in the meantyme, pls let us noe if u have any suggestions^^
also, i m afraid everybdy havta pay a small amt for the outing. and most probably, there will be a barbeque... This outing is meant to strengthen the class bondedness^^
If u have any problems wif transport or anything, pls letmme noe okays?
and yer, we didnt make it at ETP cos the motive of this is to bond 1E, us. when we go ETP, we will break up and sit our own rides, so nt a very gd idea. oso, its far for ppl livin in the East side, such as bedok, and some rides require height, so not vry fair....
