Okays, out of the 3 posts i have posted including this one, i think you all will find this one the most important lars... coz its about ur GEOG TEST. lols! Oh n fyi, i think the test is on WEDNESDAY... hahas. Oh another thing, by the way, i have typed out and sent out to ur dhs mails the mind map on plate tectonics theory so remember to go look at that coz that info is provided by geog teacher ;D

So here are the details for the CT2 test:

Date: Term 2 Week 8 (i think wednesday, day 8)
Duration: 45mins

TOPICS COVERED:
1. Map reading skills (4 & 6-figure grid references, directions, compass bearings, symbols, scales, distance, contours) [ TB 1B ]
2. Rocks (3 types, rock cycle, common types of rocks in Singapore) [ TB 1C ]
3. Landforms (types of landforms, plate tectonics theory, 3 plate movements- resultant processes & landforms, folding) – including examples (such as names of fold mountains & the plates involved) [ TB 1C & given handouts ]

Marks: 20
Format: Short-answer questions & structured questions
Materials needed: calculator, string (at least 30 cm), protractor,
pencil, ruler (NO SHARING!)

Please complete the revision exercise which has been given out to all classes, including the WB exercises indicated on pg 3. Your Geog teacher will go through as part of revision before the test. This test will be included in CA 2. Your CA 1 marks are already being calculated.

ATTENTION!~~~

1. You will not be tested on the things in Common Test 1.
2. map reading skills can be found in TB 1B.
3. rocks and plate tectonics can be found in TB 1C and the given notes.
